Dee Bogetti is a full-time dog trainer in VA, specializing in service, therapy and companion dog training, as well as behavior modification. Her positive training techniques enhance the bond you have with your dog. She offers scent training for medical alert dogs, as well as public access training and testing for all service dogs. Dee is active in her community as a therapy dog handler and founder of Life’s Journey Therapy Dogs. She and her therapy dog, Murphy, created the first therapy dog program within the domestic violence community and work in animal-assisted therapy in hospitals and elder-care facilities. Deeis a public speaker, writer and educator, as well as the co-host of internet radio's Bark Radio. A published author, Dee's book, Puppies Eat Shoes, Don't They?, is a must-read for anyone welcoming a puppy into their home.

Dee is a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, a Delta Society Pet Partner, as well as an AKC Canine Good Citizen and Star Puppy evaluator. She fosters dogs for Lab Rescue and volunteers at Richmond Animal League. She maintains two blogs and is a guest writer for others.
