Canine Adventure started with a dog. Marshall came to Canine Adventure owner Josh Rickey as a seasoned hunter who hadn't had an owner in some time. He needed a home, good meals, a couch to sleep on, and as much training as he was willing to stomach, but it wasn't enough. Marshall needed to walk fast and far, every day. He thrived in the woods and at the river, so Josh and Marshall began taking walks through Richmond's dog-friendly trails and parks. And thus, the Adventure Walk was born.
